Land reform advocates and volunteers of Tulong Anakpawis will set up another community pantry in Pook Amorsolo – C.P. Garcia in Barangay UP Campus Village in Quezon City. The pantry will have fresh vegetables and spices donated by theater and community artists, rice from KMP farmers, and fresh fish from Binangonan, Rizal fishers who are members of PAMALAKAYA
We encourage the setting up of these community pantries in villages in response to paltry government aid to the poor population. These inspiring and uplifting activities reflect the genuine Filipino collective spirit of Bayanihan.
These collective and community actions will help those who were displaced, unemployed, and lost sources of income due to the pandemic. These pantries will help the urban poor, drivers, workers, and the jobless population.
KMP said while these pantries are thriving, Filipinos must continue to assert significant cash aid of P10,000 and P15,000 production subsidy for farmers, fisherfolks, and agricultural workers. The group said production subsidies are necessary to aid farmers plant in the next cropping season.
The exact location of the pantry is at Pook Amorsolo-C.P. Garcia. For donations, you may contact +639564102935
